Charging Your Battery Through Your Computer Can Hurt Your iPod?

Yes, it will. By charging your ipod through your computer can deplete battery life. Your computer doesn't know when to stop flowing energy through the battery causing it to lose its maximum potential. And once your battery is shot you have to either try and replace your battery and risk breaking your ipod or you have to just get a new ipod. I recommend that you purchase a USB wall charger converter. This wall charger plugs into your wall socket. It converts the energy to travel through a USB wire so it can charge your ipod. This product does know to stop when it's done charging so it will stop the flow of energy saving your battery. I also recommend buying Apple. How To Get The iPod Touch 2nd Generation 3.0 Firmware For FREE (Not Beta)
